Conference on Twice-Weekly Irrigation Restrictions for 2018
February 27, 2018
Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Newtown, Stamford and Westport
Thanks in part to the twice-weekly irrigation program that was in effect during most of 2017, Aquarion Water Company was able to maintain safe reservoir levels despite the continuing precipitation deficit in southwestern Fairfield County. The twice-weekly irrigation program will continue throughout 2018 in the communities of Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan and Stamford. In addition, this year we will add Westport and Newtown.

We have modified the 2018 program to incorporate our observations, as well as suggestions from irrigation contractors, and invite you to attend an update session that is being hosted by the City of Stamford and Aquarion Water Company.Water-dependent businesses (such as irrigation contractors, landscaping companies, and landscape architects) are encouraged to join us for this brief, informational program.
